Set in alpine pastures on the edge of a forested ravine, Batian guesthouse is located at the foot of Mount Kenya with an impressive landscape including over 800 plant species and a diverse range of wildlife.
It offers their usual basic accommodation in Naro Moru Park. The house offers you an affordable stay in the beautiful alpine pastures on the edge of the forested ravine.It was built in 1972 by former warden Bill Woodley and until 1998 it was home to the Park’s wardens.
The parks are open daily from 6:00am to 7:00pm including on public holidays.
Entry to the park on foot is not permitted and visitors will not be allowed in after 6:15pm.
How to get there?
From Nairobi, travel north east on the A2 road to Thika, Karatina and Nyeri. Turn right at Marua towards Kiganjo and Naromoru. Batian Guesthouse is located at Naromoru Gate
